Privacy Policy

Overview

Remove Claude Watermark does not require an account. This policy explains how submitted content is handled and what limited pseudonymous security data is retained to prevent abuse.

We don't keep your stuff

When you paste text or upload a file, we hold it only long enough to do the job, then delete it right away. We don't save your text or files, and nothing you submit is stored in a database or kept after you leave.

How text is processed

The text you submit is sent over HTTPS through OpenRouter to a model provider so it can be rewritten and returned. Every request explicitly requires OpenRouter's Zero Data Retention (ZDR) routing and denies provider data collection. This restricts processing to endpoints that do not retain submitted text or use it for model training or other secondary purposes.

We do not enable prompt or response logging and do not retain your submitted text ourselves. OpenRouter may retain non-content operational metadata, such as token counts, latency, and the model used, but that metadata does not contain your prompt or rewritten response.

How files are processed

Image and document files are cleaned inside your browser. They are not uploaded to Remove Claude Watermark. Text files are loaded locally into the text cleaner; only text you choose to rewrite is sent for processing as described above.

Abuse prevention

To protect the free rewriting service from automated abuse, we inspect request headers and browser characteristics such as browser and platform consistency, screen and graphics characteristics, a one-way canvas digest, automation flags, and aggregate interaction timing. We do not collect typed keys, submitted text, or exact pointer locations as security telemetry.

IP addresses and browser signatures are converted to secret-keyed pseudonymous identifiers before storage. We retain those identifiers, risk scores, aggregate counters, and security decisions for no more than 30 days, then delete them. They are used only for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

Third parties

  1. OpenRouter routes submitted text only to model endpoints that satisfy the ZDR and no-data-collection requirements described above.
  2. Our hosting and infrastructure provider handles standard delivery of the website.

Cookies

We set no cookies ourselves. Short-lived browser verification is kept in page memory and disappears when the page closes or reloads.

Server logs

We do not keep general access logs by default. Our security system retains the pseudonymous abuse-prevention records described above, but never submitted content.

Children

The service is not intended for users under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction); such users must not use the service.
